I am a father and grandfather, who adores them all. I lead worship and give pastoral leadership in a local church. My heart is more than ever to figure out what Jesus wants and to do that.
1. What does worship mean to you?
At the core it is 'meeting
with God,' Psalm 42, but that can happen at church, in the streets,
your place of work. It is seeing Him in others; yielding oneself to
His purpose, plan, and will.
2. What do you think happens when you worship?
I enter a different reality, one that is actually more real than the one I exist in and am so tied to. Worship transends the mundane and brings us into the fullness of our purpose and calling as God's creation.
3. What causes you to worship?
I actually connect the most during corparate worship, when I am joined by others in giving our hearts to Him; that can be a very moving time for me.
4. How is worship displayed in your life?
Empathy, compassion, and love for people who God created. You can't really argue with loving God and loving others.
5. What is your favorite song and why?
Not even close to possible to answer; I would have a hard time narrowing down to top 10!
